Description Barclays Services Corp. seeks a Vice President, Global Supplier Assurance for its Whippany, New Jersey location. Duties: Implement and oversee the Supplier Assurance Risk strategy and governance across the North and South America region. Ensure that supplier assessments are conducted for strategic and critical suppliers in this region. Define and manage the annual suppler assurance plan using a risk based targeted coverage model which includes reviewing external supplier control obligations, business risk priorities, security and regulatory requirements. Assess supplier risk landscape and articulate how this applies to Barclays, enabling the business teams to assess the impact of decisions on customers, business relationships. Oversee and enforce adherence to Barclays systems, policies, procedures, standards and values. Manage supplier assurance team which includes resource planning, work allocation, training, budgeting, capacity planning, performance management, and reporting. Analyze and evaluate key supplier control obligations such as information/cyber technology security, data leakage prevention, Business Continuity Management, People Screening, Payments and operations, using audit techniques, evidence-based testing, and review of design/operational effectiveness to ensure products and services delivered are improved, efficient, fit for purpose, and meet standards and management objectives. Manage the relationship between Supplier Assurance and other business units and stakeholders, and work with sourcing, supplier management, risk, and operational teams to enhance overall supply chain, including due-diligence assessments during sourcing projects and ongoing monitoring of key suppliers. Manage and report on the creation, monitoring and tracking of control gaps resulting from supplier assessments. Analyze appropriate visibility, transparency and insight into operational risks relating to Supplier Risk and measures required to mitigate them. Facilitate and coordinate implementation of new supplier control obligations within the region. Deliver all supplier and organizational assurance services in line with relevant policies, standards and target operating model. Ensure supplier assessments conform to regulatory, compliance and audit requirements using Supplier Risk Management methodologies. Support and advise business by analyzing data and developing solutions for organizational control weakness related to supplier risk. Support Procurement function with program management service for delivery of supplier assurance programs. Produce timely and accurate management information and review of work issues and procedures, in support of governance and operating model of Procurement. Track, review and report on management of Supplier Risk across the region, and analyze all data in aggregate to identify trends and indicators of thematic issues for leadership forum. Focus on aligning supplier assurance plan with business unit and operations, to proactively identify inherent risk and provide solutions to remediate. Build an effective control environment. Champion a culture where all colleagues understand and follow frameworks which the bank follows to manage risk. Ensure that processes, risks and controls are applied in way that achieves a good outcome for the bank and its customers/clients. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Audit, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field, and three years of experience as a Supply Chain Management Analyst, Vendor Risk Management Analyst, IT Auditor, Compliance Management Analyst, or related for financial services or global firm. Must have at least 3 years of experience with the following: Managing and supporting supplier assurance activities working with functions such as supplier management, sourcing, risk and operational teams and ensuring supplier assessments are planned, executed and reported; Ensuring supplier assessment conforms to regulatory, compliance, risk management and audit requirements using Supplier Risk Management methodologies; Analyzing key controls using audit techniques, evidence-based testing, and review of design/operational effectiveness; Ensuring appropriate visibility, transparency and insight into operational risks relating to Supplier Risk and measures required for mitigation; Developing and managing remediation plans for control weakness, document and report on audit findings and confer on action plans to mitigate risk; Ensuring adequacy of risk management, supplier controls and corporate governance through continuous auditing and business monitoring. 40 hrs/wk.Salary Range: NAMinimum QualificationLess than 5 years Associated topics: 3pl, buyer, commodity, distribution, material, meat, plastics, provider, sql, supply chain
